Descriptive Features: Boasting the darkest purple flowers of any Russian sage to date, this Proven Winners introduction forms an upright, mounded habit with icy, minty-green foliage and slightly broader, notched leaves than similar cultivars like 'Denim 'n' Lace.' Rich lavender-purple blooms appear on strong, upright stems starting in midsummer and last for weeks, followed by long-lasting dark purple calyxes that extend color into fall.
