Descriptive Features: A sport of 'Pure Joy' that shares its impeccable growth habit, serrated leaf texture, and bloom timing, but with darker, richer green foliage and deeper pink flowers. Forms a low, rounded mound in spring that fills out to just under a foot tall by summer, when it becomes covered in a dense dome of dark pink blooms — sweetly fragrant and long-lasting, giving multi-season appeal alongside the attractive seed heads that follow. Adaptable to poor to average, well-drained soils and needs no supplemental water or fertilizer once established. Extremely drought- and salt-tolerant, rabbit-resistant, and a favorite of bees and butterflies. An excellent choice for borders, mass plantings, containers, or rock gardens in full sun.
