Descriptive Features: A vigorous, fast-growing groundcover valued for its glowing, chartreuse-to-golden-yellow foliage that brightens shaded corners and pairs beautifully as a striking color contrast against darker-leaved companions. Small, rounded, coin-shaped leaves line trailing, creeping stems that root as they touch the soil, quickly forming a dense, low mat or cascading beautifully over walls, containers, and hanging baskets. In early summer, cheerful, cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers dot the foliage, adding a secondary layer of color to the golden leaves, though the foliage remains the main attraction. Color is brightest with more sun exposure, though the plant tolerates a wide range of light from full sun to fairly deep shade, with foliage trending more chartreuse-green in shadier spots.
