Descriptive Features: A classic shade perennial and celebration of spring, valued for its large, consistently bright rose-pink flower clusters that hold their color rather than fading or shifting blue as many other pulmonarias do. Dark green leaves lightly to moderately speckled with silver form a lush, spreading mound, offering appealing textural interest well after the blooms have finished for the season. In early to late spring, abundant clusters of rosy-pink flowers open above the foliage, drawing hummingbirds and bees in one of the earliest nectar sources of the season. Spreads slowly by creeping rhizomes to form an attractive, expanding patch over time.
