Descriptive Features: A vigorous lavandin hybrid bred specifically for exceptional cold hardiness, heat and humidity tolerance, and resistance to common lavender diseases like Phytophthora root rot — making it far more forgiving than many English lavenders in less-than-ideal climates. Forms a large, symmetrical, silvery mound of highly aromatic, needle-like gray-green foliage. From early to midsummer, abundant long, plump spikes of soft lavender-blue flowers rise on tall, sturdy stems well above the foliage, excellent for cutting fresh or dried. Notably deer- and rabbit-resistant and highly drought-tolerant once established. Its larger, more adaptable habit makes it well suited for hedging, borders, mass plantings, or specimen use in full sun with sharp drainage.
