These trees are known for their stunning foliage and year round interest. They are moderate to slow growing, and many varieties prefer dappled shade. The Bloodgood is a larger, hardy variety that is commonly planted around here, reaching heights of 20-25 feet. Whereas the split leaf maples, like the Tameyukama stay much smaller and are more ornamental.
