Descriptive Features: An All-America Selections winner and the first F1 hybrid coneflower series to offer individual, uniform colors. Forms a compact, upright, densely branched, uniform habit of dark green foliage. Very large single flowers open an intense, deep golden-yellow (sometimes leaning toward orange) and gradually soften with graduated ombré tones as they age, blooming prolifically from early summer into fall, sometimes with sporadic bloom until frost. Bred for reliable uniform growth and a heavy bloom count, judged by AAS trial experts to be especially vibrant and free-flowering. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and finches, which feed on the seed heads if left in place over winter. Tolerant of drought, heat, and humidity once established, and deer-resistant. Its compact size makes it well suited to small gardens and containers as well as borders, prairies, meadows, and cutting gardens in full sun to part shade.
