Latin Name: Sedum 'Little Miss Sunshine'
Common Name: Little Miss Sunshine Stonecrop
Zones: 3–9
Height & Spread: 6–8 inches tall, spreading 18–20 inches wide
Descriptive Features: A ground-hugging, tidy groundcover sedum prized for its incredibly dark green, glossy foliage and neat, compact habit. From early to midsummer, showy clusters packed with tiny star-shaped, bright yellow flowers rise on stout, upright stems above the polished mound, creating an explosive, sunny display. As temperatures cool in autumn, the foliage may take on subtle reddish tints, adding another season of interest, and both foliage and faded flower heads stay attractive through winter. Extremely drought-tolerant once established and well suited to hot, dry summers. Rabbit-resistant and a strong draw for bees and butterflies. An excellent choice for rock gardens, combination containers, slopes, or the front of the border in full sun.
